We're very pleased to announce that our SugarCRM Module now supports authentication from any SugarMailer by INBOX25 user account, not just the Administrator.
How does this feature benefit me?
If you have multiple CRM users, as many organizations do, you can now create an SugarMailer user for each SugarCRM user and give them their own access to SugarMailer. That also means that each user can now open the inBOX25 Module in SugarCRM and use their SugarMailer credentials to authenticate and setup the module for use by their SugarCRM user account. All of their permissions assigned when you create their account in SugarMailer are applied and they are restricted to the access level and permissions you set.
How does it work?
First, make sure you configure your SugarCRM user's access or their role to allow user(s) to access the inBOX25 Module.
Now, create a new SugarMailer sub-account user by clicking on User Management from the main navigation and then click on Create a New User.
Then, configure the appropriate access controls for your new user and be sure to specify permissions for SugarCRM Target List access. You will also need to select enable for SugarCRM Module Access, if you would like the user to access their account using our module in SugarCRM.
Once your new sub-account user is setup with SugarCRM Module Access granted, the user can now utilize those credentials to authenticate and activate the module in their CRM. If the module is not yet installed or you need more info on running the setup wizard, check out our installation tutorial.
You user will select Existing User and then enter their email address and password for their new inBOX25 account.
