INBOX25 users doing business in Europe are required to comply with EU cookie laws by receiving consent from your visitors, in order to track their activity on your web site.
If you're business has a presence in the EU, then you need to request your visitors permission before issuing them a cookie in order to comply with the EU directive.
The example above illustrates the Privacy Consent dialog that will appear at the top of every page that is running Site Monitor.
INBOX25 has made it easy to confirm to the EU directive with our Privacy Popup settings. By enabling the Privacy Popup you can personalize a message to your visitors, explaining why you issue a cookie and asking them for permission. If permission is granted, we issue the cookie. If they do not grant consent, then we do not issue a cookie.
Enabling Privacy Settings is simple:
- Navigate to Reports --> Site Monitor
- If you're adding a domain for the first time, click 'Track a domain' or on an existing domain click on the settings icon under the action column.
- The domain configuration dialog will appear. Click on 'Enable Privacy Pop-up'
- Customize the message that your visitors will see.
- Click Continue to Save
