So we've been getting a lot of requests to distinguish between what lists in INBOX25 will use Email Credits, and what Lists will not. So here's a breakdown of the possible lists to choose from inside the Email Campaign Wizard, and which require Email Credits.
So this is Step 3.1, your Select Recipient's Screen in the Email Campaign Wizard. There are three sections highlighted.
In RED are your CRM/MA Lists. These lists comprise of entire CRM-Lists (Leads, Accounts, Targets, Contacts) and SugarCRM Target Lists that have been Auto-Segmented. The key here is Auto-Segmented. Target Lists will not be populated in this section of the Select Recipients screen if you have not completed the instructions contained within our Auto-Segments Announcement (get the hint :). In BLUE are your SugarCRM Target Lists. Clicking on the checkbox will expand the window and look a little like this:
These show you all of the SugarCRM Target Lists (of type Default) that INBOX25 can send to. Please note that this query is pulling the hard values of what's in the SugarCRM Target List at the moment of clicking that checkbox. At this point, the system is NOT checking against bounces, opt-outs, duplicate or invalid email addresses.
If you've made changes to this list prior to sending/scheduling the email campaign; you will need to click the highlighted "Update" value on the next step after selecting your recipients. This will update the list to its most current state. Once the status "Ready" is next to the list, it has finished being updated. Please note that this process will take some time depending on the size of the Target List.
*Note- You will always need email credits to send to lists using this option. Additionally, even though before send-out we de-dupe, check against unsubscribes, invalid email addresses and bounces; you will need to maintain an appropriate amount of Email Credits to satisfy the larger send-out. The unused credits will be pushed back into your Available Volume after send-out.
In GREEN are your Subscriber and Marketing Lists.
These are lists that you've uploaded into INBOX25 via our List Manager. Subscriber Lists are for Email Marketer Plans, and Email Credits are needed to send to them. Marketing Lists are for Pro Marketer Plans, and do NOT require Email Credits to send out. How do you differentiate between the two?
Easy! So from this screenshot, you see a few lists with a little bullseye icon next to them. These are your Marketing Lists. The ones without, are your Subscriber Lists.
- If you choose lists from the first section (highlighted in Red) then you will never need Email Credits. This selection is only available for users with a Pro Marketer plan.
- If you select the 2nd checkbox (highlighted in Blue), you will always need Email Credits to send to those lists. Not to mention that we label this section for you! If you have a Pro Marketer Plan however, and want to send to particular Target Lists without using credits, then you can Auto-Segment the Target List.
- If you select the 3rd checkbox (highlighted in Green) then you may or may not be using Email Credits, it all depends on the list you're choosing. If you are selecting Subscriber Lists, then you will need Email Credits. If you are selecting Marketing Lists (lists with the bullseye icon next to them) then you will NOT be using Email Credits.
