Q1. What does the inBOX25 integration provide me for SugarCRM and why would I want to use it?
A: inBOX25 is a Commercial Email Service Provider (ESP) and core competency is high-volume, permission based email marketing. At our core, our solution enables organizations to properly create, deliver and track high impact email marketing campaigns. Even though SugarCRM offers 'email campaigns' as a feature in their native application, it still lacks many of the fundamentals required to properly deploy commercial email. For example, SugarCRM users are required to provide their own outbound mail service (SMTP) in order to send email campaigns through SugarCRM. This is inherently problematic because most users will either utilize their corporate email server and risk disrupting their internal email services, should they become blacklisted.
Or, they'll rely on their Internet Service Provider (ISP) as their SMTP provider, in which case they will encounter the same blacklist risk and also a risk of being disconnected as most ISP's forbid sending commercial email through their service. Not to mention, neither of these solutions are appropriately configured for deploying bulk commercial email. In both instances, delivery will be very poor and spam filters will become very problematic. inBOX25 eliminates these delivery hurdles, because our solution gives SugarCRM users access to our state-of-the-art network and delivery service. Our solution easily bolts onto the native SugarCRM campaign module, to give you the best of both worlds.
Q2. What versions of SugarCRM do you support?
Currently we support SugarCRM/ SuiteCRM 6.5 or higher, including Pro+ and Community Edition.
Q3. How much does your solution cost?
Plans start at just $59 per month.
Q4. What is the difference between your Cloud Integration and your Module Integration.
The primary difference between the two integration options is accessibility. Our Module Integration simply introduces our software into SugarCRM and enables users to leverage our solution without ever leaving SugarCRM. With the Cloud Integration, you will still manage your email campaigns entirely from within the inBOX25 application. It's really a matter of preference as both integrations offer the same functionality. Our module is available to download and install at no cost, on Module Configuration:http://support.inbox25.com/hc/en-us/articles/207428283-SugarCRM-Module-Download-Installation-and-Setup
Q5. Do you have an install guide or video that covers installing the module?
Yes, we do! You can download our install guide here: http://support.inbox25.com/hc/en-us/articles/207428283-SugarCRM-Module-Download-Installation-and-Setup
Q6. Can I authenticate my SugarCRM instance with inBOX25, using a Non-System Administrator account?
Well, the answer is maybe. We are still yet to see the integration function properly, even when all of the permissions are set correctly in SugarCRM (manually). So we always recommend using a System Administrator account to properly authenticate.
Q7. What modules do you support with your solution?
With our latest version, you can leverage targets from Accounts, Leads, Contacts, Targets and Prospects.
Q8. If I'm using inBOX25 to create my campaign, why does inBOX25 still create a campaign in SugarCRM?
We create a campaign automatically in SugarCRM in order to have a location to sync your campaign's activity inside your CRM. As a best practice, all of your data should ultimately reside in your CRM. What our software does is create the SugarCRM campaign, assign your target list(s) and then sync: Messages Sent, Opened (who opened), Clicked (specific links), Bounces and Opt-outs.
Q9. Can I sync a previously sent SugarCRM campaign with INBOX25?
This is a fairly common question and the answer is unfortunately, no. If you create and deploy a campaign via inBOX25, but do not select it as a SugarCRM campaign in Step 1 or assign a SugarCRM Target List(s) in Step 3.3, then there will be no synchronization between inBOX25 and SugarCRM. We will also not have the Target data necessary to create a SugarCRM Campaign and Campaign List, so synchronizing the reporting between the applications after the fact is not possible.
If you would like synchronization of a Campaign's activity and your Targets activity, you will need to specify that your inBOX25 campaign is also a new SugarCRM campaign on Step 1 and then assign only Target List(s) on Step 3.3.
Q10. If a target opens and clicks a campaign sent through inBOX25, is that reflected in SugarCRM if I view their profile?
Yes, absolutely. We sync all of your targets campaign activity as well.
Q11. What happens if a target opts-out or bounces?
If a target opts-out, then we 'check' opted-out in their profile in SugarCRM. If they bounce and its a temporary error (soft bounce), then we simply count the soft bounce and once it reaches a certain point, they're email address is checked 'invalid' in SugarCRM. If they bounce and its a permanent error (hard bounce), then they're email address is checked as 'invalid'.
A target that is 'checked' as either opted-out or invalid, will not be included in future inBOX25 email campaigns.
Q12. Can I import an Email Template from SugarCRM
Yes, just select that option on Step 2 when you're creating your campaign in inBOX25.
Q13. Can I use personalization tags with your solution? Such as, 'FirstName'?
Yes, you'll have access to all of the default tags for your module(s). You can find all of the available tags under the 'Code Snippet' drop-menu in our Creative Editor.
